WELCOME TO FRONTIER BAR
Frontier Bar is a new live music bar located on the East Side of Austin. We opened our doors in July of 2011. We feature any musical genre of bands loved by all Austinites.
We have a large patio with an outdoor stage area, an outdoor bar and a ping-pong table. Inside we feature two pool tables, a Tournament Street Fighter 2 arcade console, and East Austin’s best and unique draft beer, bottled beer, and spirit selection.
We feature local and national music artists on a weekly & monthly basis as well as bring you national comedy tours and local comedy nights, art shows, host benefits, private parties and SXSW showcases. We provide Austinites with a wide range of music on a weekly basis to select from, making sure there’s always something for everyone to choose from on any given week. There is always something going on at the Frontier!

He met these great musicians there, indirectly and directly, through the open mic back in the mid-90's to the present. Grego Loboz has always been solid in every sense of the word... from rhythms to tracking. The Bozarth twins are also indispensable, providing keys (Dustin) and root (Evan on bass) as well as musical technical expertise. Kem Watts is a great singer and songwriter, hands-down. This project cycles about the live music concept that is.... Purple Bee!</br><a target=_blank href=http://www.myspace.com/mopairmusic>MySpace</a> | "<b>Dave Dersham (guest of Mo Pair)</b></br><i>Music Genre: Indie-Ethereal Alt Folk</i></br>Dave was born in Oregon's Willamette Valley and spent his formative years in Western Massachusetts. Although he largely ignored his guitar throughout college, the galaxy of artists, actors, and musicians at Oberlin stirred in him an aesthetic to be realized only over time. Un-musical sojourns would follow: cooking beneath Wyoming's Grand Tetons; teaching in the Black Hills of South Dakota; Environmental Education in distant pockets of Maine; and therapeutic wilderness treks across southern Idaho. Finally, Dave addressed his muse and settled into the Cambridge folk scene, playing shows at Club Passim, the Can-Tab Lounge, and the Nameless Coffeehouse. His first CD, ""The Burn of Summer,"" enjoyed regular airplay on Folk Radio's WUMB and on numerous college stations. His second CD, ""Gilding the Lilies,"" was released this autumn and is being promoted nationally.
